Systems Overview

The LG Nortel ipLDK 20, ipLDK 50, ipLDK 100 and ipLDK 300 are the latest Digital Hybrid Business Telephone System in the LG Nortel range. Designed to give a medium sized enterprise a better way to manage both internal and external communications, it helps to retain customers and engage new business by giving a professional impression to callers.

The ipLDK range is designed to be managed using the provided Call Management software. Centralised Station Detail Management Recording (SMDR) makes tracking incoming and out going calls simple, allowing accurate costs to be assigned. It supports VoIP, IP networking and Computer Telephony Integration. This includes the capability for simultaneous voice and data transfer via a user's desktop computer. It can manage a large number of DECT cordless handsets, making them ideal for a manufacturing or service environment where users will be need to be both mobile and available. One of the new features of the ipLDK 50 through 300 is that a mobile phone can be assigned as a second handset to an extension. Ringing the fixed extension will simultaneously ring the mobile. There is also the ability to transfer callers back to other system extensions. A range of new handsets have been designed to take advantage of the capabilities of the ipLDK range.

ipLDK20

The LG Nortel ipLDK 20 is the long awaited replacement to the popular GDK 16 range, bringing the ipLDK feature set to the competitive SOHO market. It allows up to 24 line extensions, compared with the 14 for a GDK 16 and supports the new 7000 series digital key handsets.
The unit also supports analogue extensions as well as the digital keysets. In addition it can manage up to 28 IP extensions via a LAN connection, with up to 8 active at any one time. The trunk connection can be either be analogue trunks, or an ISDN2e connection.

The brand new system has greatly improved features, including more powerful voice messaging functionality, End User PC administration from a central location, mobile extension (allowing you to pair a mobile phone with a handset, and automatically have calls to your DDI routed to your mobile) and CLI on analogue lines.

In addition it supports up to the minute functionality such as Bluetooth compatibility, IP Networking, Remote IP extension support and 3rd Party CTI Support. This is unprecedented for a unit aimed at the Small Office/Home Office markey. It also has a custom CTI solution, 'ez PHONE' and 'ez ATTENDANT'.

There are two pre-configured variants that each provide the core of the system. One is based around 2x ISDN2e trunks, the other uses 4x analogue trunks. The basic components of the system are supplied in the CCU case, and everything needed to set up the base unit is included, creating a system that only requires the addition of handsets. Many expansion options are available through the purchase of additional cards and software. The main processor and built in function board give the CCU these initial configurations:

ipLDK50/100

Small to Medium Communications Solution
The ipLDK 100 is a phone system ideally medium sized business requiring up to 96 extensions, 80 DECT cordless handsets and 40 exchange lines or ISDN channels.

The ipLDK range can improve the way you work by improving the way you communicate both internally and with customers and suppliers. It can create the right impression to win new business and retain existing customers.

Hot Desking enables you to reduce the number of phones that sit idle when mobile staff are out of the office or if you have guests requiring a temporary desk to work from.

Desk Top Call Recording gives you a cost effective way of capturing important conversation details by the simple addition of a USB module to a system extension. It puts the user in control of the calls that they need to record.

Digital voice messaging can help you manage calls in peak times or out of office hours by offering comfort greetings when queuing, or providing the option to leave a message.

In addition to the standard phone system features, the ipLDK range can offer computer telephony integration where calls are handled simply by a click of the PC mouse and customer relationship management applications, which provides existing customer information on screen before a call is answered.

Hotel Software is supported via the LDK 100 system. Hotel Software offers complete Stand-alone hotel functionality such as Check-In, Check-Out, Maid Status, Bar/Mini Bar Charging, Variable Room Rates. LDK Hotel Software also fully integrates to many popular PMS packages such as roomMaster, Micros Fidelio, Ramesys, Guestline, Avondata and many more.

ipLDK50 The ipLDK is highly featured for both office and hotel applications offering automatic call distribution, which sends incoming calls to groups of extensions for call centre applications, depending on the number dialled and rerouting calls to other extensions if the first group are busy.

LG Nortel Handsets compatible with all systems

LG Nortel - 7004N Digital Handset (No Display) The 7004N is the most basic model in the new LG Nortel 7000 series of Digital Handsets. It is currently exclusive to the ipLDK EVOLUTION but existing LDK100/300 systems can be upgraded to allow compatibility.
LG Nortel - 7004D Digital Handset The 7004D handset provides basic functionality in the new LG Nortel 7000 series of Digital Handsets. A character display provides basic information on calls and call status. It is currently exclusive to the ipLDK EVOLUTION but existing LDK100/300 systems can be upgraded to allow compatibility.
LG Nortel - 7008D Digital Handset The 7008D handset is part of the new LG Nortel 7000 series of Digital Handsets, designed for less simplicity and efficiency. It is currently exclusive to the ipLDK EVOLUTION but existing LDK100/300 systems can be upgraded to allow compatibility.
LG Nortel - 70016D Digital Handset he 70016D handset is part of the new LG Nortel 7000 series of Digital Handsets. Context sensitive Keys provide a simple but flexible interface. It is currently exclusive to the ipLDK EVOLUTION but existing LDK100/300 systems can be upgraded to allow compatibility.
LG Nortel - 70024D/LD Digital Handset he 70024D handset is a high specification terminal from the new LG Nortel 7000 series of Digital Handsets. It is available with two different display types. The 70024D has a three line alphanumeric display, the 70024LD has a larger alphanumeric display.
LG Nortel - 70048DSS Digital Keyset Add-On The 70048DSS unit works with the new LG Nortel 7000 series of Digital Handsets. It adds 48 user programmable keys to an existing handset.
LG Nortel - IP7008D IP Hardphone The IP7008D handset is designed to work with ipLDK VoIP modules as an IP extension, and so plugs into a 10/100 Ethernet LAN. Has 8 programmable buttons, a 2x 24 alphanumeric display, 2.5 mm headset jack, and a single LAN interface plus additional LAN hub port for PC connection.
